How to Tell If an OzHitch Will Fit Your Caravan
The simplest way to determine if an OzHitch coupling will fit your caravan is by measuring the length and width of your current coupling’s bolt hole centres. Here’s how:
Step 1: Grab a measuring tape or ruler.
Step 2: Measure the distance between the centres of the bolt holes—both the length (front-to-back) and the width (side-to-side).
Bolt Hole Dimensions for OzHitch Models:
OzHitch 4-Hole 2.0T & 3.5T
If the length is 184mm and the width is 54mm, then this 4-hole coupling will fit your caravan perfectly.
OzHitch 6-Hole 2.0T & 3.5T
The 6-hole coupling has the same outer dimensions as the 4-hole (184mm x 54mm), but requires additional centre holes spaced at 76mm for enhanced stability. This configuration is ideal for heavy-duty setups. Make sure your caravan’s drawbar can accommodate these extra bolt holes.
OzHitch 4-Hole 2.5T
The 2.5T model features a 4-hole configuration with specific dimensions of 104mm in length and 76mm in width. These differ from the standard 4-hole versions, so ensure you measure accurately to avoid any mismatch.
